Prayers to our Guardian Angel
Our Guardian Angels are there to guide, defend and assist us.
Angel of God,
my guardian dear,
to whom his love commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen.
O most holy angel of God,
appointed by Him
to be my guardian,
I give you thanks for all the benefits
you have bestowed on me
in body and in soul.
I praise and honor you
for condescending to assist me
with such patient faithfulness,
and to defend me
against all the assaults
of my enemies.
Blessed be the hour
in which you were assigned
to me to be my guardian,
my defender, and my patron.
In acknowledgement
of all your ministries to me
from my youth until now,
and in return for them,
I offer you the infinitely precious
and noble heart of Jesus,
and I firmly intend
to obey you from now on
and to serve my God most faithfully.
